    Dr. Swanson is a passionate educator in all settings and was recently recognized as the Junior Educator of the Year by the American College of Prosthodontics in 2022. She was also awarded the Charles Craig Teaching Award in 2023 by OKU, the National Dental Honor Society

    Title: Dental Esthetics in Modern Times

    Course Synopsis:

    The beauty in an esthetic dentistry lecture is that it applies to not only restorative providers, but specialists as well. Esthetic dentistry is a booming business and our patients’ expectations are increasing everyday.

    This course enables the participant to review the fundamentals of dental esthetics with real life application, and find ways to improve patient outcomes in their practice. The course includes information on how soft tissue, hard tissue, vertical dimension, intraoral and extraoral structures impact esthetics.

    Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the attendee will:

    • Understand trends in esthetics over time
    • Identify fundamentals of dental esthetics
    • Distinguish criteria that influence treatment success
    • Comprehend the influence of multidisciplinary treatment on dental esthetics


    LAST DAY TO REGISTER IS MARCH 29TH

    Cocktail hour and Registration opens at 5:30 PM. Dinner will be served starting at 6:15 PM. Educational program to begin at 6:30 PM. We look forward to seeing you!

Founded in 1911 and incorporated in 1962, the Onondaga County Dental Society's mission is to improve the health of the public and promote the art and science of dentistry.  Educational meetings, social events and volunteer activities are held throughout the year.
