Course Description:
This lecture will cover the maxillary sinus. Topics will include identification and management of rhinosinusitis and odontogenic sinusitis.
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this presentation participants should be able to:
● Identify acute vs chronic rhinosinusitis
● Understand Endoscopic Sinus Surgery indications
● Review normal anatomy of the maxillary sinus
● Identify odontogenic sinusitis and its management
● Identify other maxillary sinus pathologies
Speaker Bio:
Dr. Arnold is an assistant professor of Otolaryngology and Communication Sciences at SUNY Upstate Medical University. He is an attending at the Syracuse VA Medical Center. Dr. Arnold earned his Medical Degree from University of Minnesota Medical School. He completed his Otolaryngology Residency from SUNY Upstate. Following his residency training, he completed Fellowship in Rhinology from Emory University. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery.
