Dr. Sam Shamardi

2 MCE Credits

Over 80% of the population has some form of periodontal disease, yet practices routinely overlook periodontal treatment. Why? Primarily because doctors and hygienists are not trained to diagnose and treatment plan periodontal therapy. This course reviews in detail clinical and diagnostic factors for periodontal disease along with criteria necessary for referring cases for different forms of periodontal therapy.

Learning Objectives:

  • Review all diagnostic and clinical factors essential in properly identifying periodontal disease
  • Understand what factors should be considered in referring cases to periodontal specialists and how such cases present themselves clinically
  • Learn ways to transform your practice productivity with zero additional time and investment in marketing

Course is sponsored by The Fifth District Dental Society

The Fifth District Dental Society designates this activity for 2 continuing education credits. The Fifth District Dental Society is an ADA CERP recognized provider approved by the New York State Dental Association.
